Seth Rollins was recently a guest on the Baby Huey and Bimbo Jimbo show. He spoke on a wide variety of topics about his career in order to promote WWE 2k18. One of these topics was about his Wrestlemania 31 cash-in where he won the WWE Championship.
During the main event of Wrestlemania 31, Seth cashed in his Money in the Bank contract during the match between Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar.
This was one of most shocking moments in recent memory and certainly one of the most memorable. So how does Rollins feel about it? He doesn’t think a moment like that will ever be duplicated.
Here is what he said:
“You can’t really put a moment like that into words. When you’re a kid…you dream of throwing a last second touchdown pass to win the game or bottom of the 9th in Game 7 of the World Series, and in our industry that’s exactly what that was. There probably will never be another opportunity to create a moment like that ever again. It will go down in WrestleMania folklore and history forever, and be replayed until we don’t do replays anymore. For me you can’t put into words how much that means, and how much that does for me personally. Definitely a fulfillment of a lifelong dream.”
An incredible moment.
In case you are wondering, here is why the curb stomp was banned by Vince McMahon.
