Dean Ambrose & Seth Rollins vs Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn
This one might seem a little random at first glance but it isn’t once you really think about it. What do all of these 4 men have in common?
They are both pairs of friends that have split up, with one of them turning on the other. Rollins turned his back on Ambrose and the Shield several years ago, breaking up the group. Kevin Owens turned his back on Sami Zayn in NXT, powerbombing him on the apron during his celebration at NXT Takeover R-Evolution.
They also have in common that they recently made up. Seth & Dean’s reunion played out for several months and they are now stronger than ever. Sami and Owens recently re-aligned at the Hell in a Cell Pay-Per-View.
I think that this could be a very intriguing storyline. Two sets of brothers who have a long history with one another facing off. I am not really sure how exactly it would get set up, but I think it is a match that could be a lot of fun.
All 4 men are extremely talented and I think they could put on one heck of a tag team match if they were paired together. Seems like a decent option in my book.
The Shield vs the Club
If the WWE plans on keeping the Shield together for Wrestlemania 34, they are going to need some big-time opponents for the event.
I can think of none better than the Club.
This could be either Finn Balor, Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson or AJ Styles, Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson. Either group would make for formidable opponents for the Shield if they were built up properly over the next few months. It is a dream match for a lot of fans and could be a lot of fun.
In a recent interview, AJ Styles teased this match when he was asked about facing the Shield:
“Absolutely. I think that if Gallows and Anderson and I got together, we would dominate just like we’ve done before. There’s no doubt about it.”
I am not convinced that the Shield will be sticking around long-term. If they are, I can’t think of a better team for them to face.
