Seth Rollins is back on WWE TV! He was recently featured on a WWE 24 special about his road to recovery (in the video above).
Seth Rollins was recently a guest on Talk is Jericho hosted by WWE superstar Chris Jericho. He spoke on a wide variety of topics about his WWE injury and return. One of these topics was him saying he was really upset by Bret Hart’s comments towards him when he was injured.
Rollins said he has all the respect in the world for Bret Hart but he hurt his feelings (when he got injured). He says Bret had some comments about how safe Rollins was in the ring because of what happened when he broke John Cena’s nose. He also made some comments about him getting hurt while being the WWE Champion. Bret says you can’t get hurt because people and the company rely on you as the top guy. Seth said that those comments hurt his feelings and he hasn’t spoken to him about it since. He understands that Bret comes from a different era where guys worked through injuries but he says that sucked and hurt his feelings. He says he idolized him as a guy who was 6″1 and similar weight to him as he thought he could do things because Bret did them. He says Bret should know how hard he works every single night as the champion and it wasn’t his fault.
Jericho chimes in and says you don’t choose to get injured and it just happens. Even when it is on things that are so routine for wrestlers (like the sunset flip Rollins got hurt on).

Rollins says he would like to have a discussion with Bret about it and ask what he meant by his comments. He would also like to know if there was something he could learn from the experience because it was a thing that was so routine for him.
He says about the safety comments that things happen in the ring and in no means did he intentionally try to break John Cena’s nose. Injuries happen and so do accidents in the world of professional wrestling.

Let us know your thoughts in the comment section below. I personally think it is a bit silly to criticize anyone for getting injured.
Bret Hart always has negative things to say about the WWE. Seems like he never points out positive things.
Why doesnt he start up his own wrestling company and understand how difficult it really is?
But no, he just sits in a chair behind a mic. and talks down about the WWE. I bet Bret thinks the greastest era in WWE was during the time he was champ & I bet he thinks the greatest match of all times was one he was in.
