Scott Hall is known to have one of the best minds for the professional wrestling business. His great mind for the business is constantly brought up when someone is mentioning his name. Unfortunately, he also has a history of substance abuse. It seems like his personal demons are the only thing keeping him from getting a full-time job in NXT and helping the young wrestlers of tomorrow.
In an interview for Total Wrestling Magazine, Hall expressed a desire to work in NXT and had some high praise for Shinsuke Nakamura and Finn Balor.
Here is what Hall said:
“I think it’s great you have guys like Finn Balor and Shinsuke Nakamura in WWE. I was reaching out to Finn before when he was still in New Japan, I was in contact with him. I really am happy for him and all his success and I hope he has a speedy recovery, he’s over like a rock star. Nakamura is another guy who didn’t have to change at all, he’s doing exactly what he did in New Japan, which was over like crazy. Now, he’s in NXT and killing it”
On wanting to work in NXT:
“I think it’s a great time to be a young pro wrestler, I’m happy to be involved in wrestling and my goal is to end up in NXT. The best thing for me though is to keep going places and to keep being charming and having my s*** together, because when I’m clear-headed my phone rings.”

I personally think Hall could be a major asset at the WWE Performance Center if he is able to control his personal demons. Maybe keep him on a tight leash but let him share his knowledge!
