Samoa Joe Confirms Injury During NXT Takeover Brooklyn II

At NXT Takeover Brooklyn II, we saw Shinsuke Nakamura become the new NXT Champion after defeating Samoa Joe. It took two Kinsasha’s to finally put away Joe after a solid match between the two. What you might have caught was Joe looking like he was in a lot of pain after the match. The referee immediately tossed up the ‘X’ symbol which signifies an injury.

We reported that Samoa Joe might be injured as it looked like something to do with his jaw. Some fans were not convinced he wasn’t just selling. We have an injury update on Samoa Joe.

Here is what he tweeted, saying his jaw was dislocated:

WWE.com posted that:

“The severity of the dislocation remains unknown, leading many in the NXT Universe to wonder just how long the submission specialist will be out of action, or if he can even open his mouth to talk” (Source; WWE.com).

The WWE could be working fans, showing how devastating Nakamura’s knees really are. It also might have been an accident and Joe is really hurt. I guess we will have to wait and find out more details!
