Seth Rollins is currently on a collision course with Chris Jericho, likely culminating in a match between the two at the upcoming WWE Roadblock: End Of The Line PPV. What will happen for Rollins after the feud with Jericho and what is currently planned for him for Wrestlemania 33 in Orlando?
The most obvious candidate to face Rollins at Wrestlemania 33 is Triple H. After Summerslam, Triple H returned to WWE TV and hit Rollins with a pedigree, allowing Kevin Owens to win the WWE Universal Championship. Since that night several months ago, WWE fans still haven’t gotten any closure in the storyline and we haven’t heard Triple H explain why he did what he did that night.
Rumors have been circulating that the plan is still for Rollins and Triple H for Wrestlemania. WWE is delaying the story until we get closer to the event. It is likely that the feud will begin to build in the upcoming weeks and we will finally hear from Triple H.
The story writes itself. The teacher vs the protegé. The pedigree vs the pedigree. The WWE has booked this one long-term stemming back to when Rollins was the chosen one out of the Shield for the Authority.
It is even rumored that this was actually the plan for Wrestlemania 32 until Rollins suffered that knee injury that kept him out of the event.

Things happen in WWE and this is to be treated as a rumor, but all indications look like we are heading towards a Seth Rollins vs Triple H match at Wrestlemania 33. There have been rumblings that WWE’s backup plan could be Shane McMahon vs Triple H but it doesn’t sound as appealing as a match with Rollins.
