WWE has recently filed a trademark on the term “WCCW”. This is a reference to World Class Championship Wrestling, which is a promotion that older wrestling fans will recognize.
WCCW is probably best known for the storied feud and long-running battle between the Von Erich Family and the Fabulous Freebirds.
Bullet Club Elite Star Turns Down WWE Offer
According to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, WWE recently made an offer to Adam ‘Hangman’ Page. According to what Meltzer has heard, Page turned WWE’s offer down.
Meltzer added that Page told WWE that he didn’t want to come right now because the group (Cody Rhodes, the Young Bucks, Kenny Omega, Marty Scurll, and Page) are sticking together.
