Rumors: Alexa Bliss’ Role Moving Forward, A Possible Change To WWE Contracts

Today’s rumor mill article features the latest on Alexa Bliss’ short-term role in WWE. Also, the latest rumor on a possible change to WWE contracts moving forward. Make sure to take rumors with a grain of salt as always.

A Possible Change To WWE Contracts

According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, WWE is looking to sign their talent to longer-term deals moving forward. Here is a quote (via Ringside News):

“They are approaching talents right now and are trying to sign them to longer term deals. They locked in their TV deals and now they want to try to lock in these talents longer.”

We usually hear of talent signing for 2 to 3 years. It will be interesting to see if we start seeing more signings for 4+ years moving forward.

Alexa Bliss’ Role Moving Forward

News recently broke that Alexa Bliss suffered an arm injury. According to Dave Meltzer in the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Alexa is suffering from numbness in her left arm. The word going around is that she is only cleared for “minimal exertion” for the time being.

This means that she will still be able to do some things on WWE television. It is possible that she will stay on RAW but only as a manager. We saw her in this role on RAW this past week, where she managed Alicia Fox and Mickie James in their tag team match. Alexa did not take a bump during the match.

On a related note, here is the latest rumor on two independent stars that WWE is interested in.
