Rumor Roundup: WWE’s Reaction To AEW’s New TV Deal, RAW Superstars Who Are Paul Heyman’s “Projects”, More

Here are some of the latest WWE rumors that are floating around.

5) Several RAW Superstars Who Are Paul Heyman’s “Projects”

On Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer spoke about several WWE stars who are “projects” for Paul Heyman. Specifically, there are several RAW stars who Heyman is really trying to get over.

Here is what Meltzer said (h/t to Ringside News for the quotes below):

Paul Heyman is really high on Buddy Murphy — and having him in a tag team with Rollins I think that the idea — the idea is you can watch this thing evolve and it’s pretty clear. I mean Ricochet, Drew McIntyre, Humberto Carrillo, Andrade, and you know Aleister Black and Buddy Murphy are his guys, his projects.”

“So, I mean that’s been the whole theme of the television show. I mean it’s always to get people over, but those are guys who are really being earmarked to get over.”

My Take:

  • I am a fan of all those guys, so that is great news to me. The problem is, there is only so much airtime to go around, so he can’t push them all at once. Still, I am definitely happy with everything that I have been hearing about Heyman since he’s been in charge of RAW.

4) Killer Kross Won’t Be A Free Agent For Much Longer

According to a report from Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select, Killer Kross won’t be available for bookings on Wrestlemania 36 weekend:

“I was told pretty directly to not expect Killer Kross to be available for bookings during WrestleMania week.”

This is a hint that Kross won’t be a free agent for much longer and will be signing with a major promotion soon.

My Take:

  • My money is still on Kross heading to NXT to join his girlfriend, Scarlett Bordeaux. We will have to wait and see though.
