5) Match Planned For The Royal Rumble
According to Dave Meltzer in the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Bobby Lashley vs Matt Riddle is expected to happen at the Royal Rumble PPV.
This will be for the United States Championship.
My Take:
- This should be a pretty good match. I am surprised that it didn’t happen at TLC though as they have been feuding for a few weeks now.
4) Possible Reason Why Lars Sullivan Has Been Off WWE Television
Lars Sullivan has not been seen on WWE television since the November 6th episode of Smackdown. We have a rumor to pass your way about the possible reason why Lars hasn’t been seen in a while.
According to Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Lars is being kept off television because of Roman Reigns. The feeling is that WWE does not want “another top heel they don’t want to beat on the same brand“.
WWE is planning to protect Lars as much as possible and it has become difficult for them to have two top heels on the same brand.
My Take:
- I guess that it would be hard to keep Roman and Lars away from each other for several months. Still, it seems like a bad decision to just keep the guy off television as their solution.
