Rumor Roundup: WWE’s Plan For After Wrestlemania 36, Edge’s Status, More

1) WWE’s Plan For After Wrestlemania 36

According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, WWE has taped all of their shows up until the April 10th episode of Smackdown. That date will be the next taping day for WWE.

Despite rumors that the WWE Performance Center is getting shut down, WWE is still planning on taping shows from the venue after Wrestlemania 36.

Here is what Johnson wrote:

The next scheduled WWE TV taping is Friday 4/10, which would be the post-Wrestlemania Friday Night Smackdown broadcast.  That taping is slated for the WWE Performance Center.    The Post-Wrestlemania editions of Monday Night Raw and WWE NXT have already been taped.

We are told all tapings for the month of April will continue to be at the PC with any other scheduled live events obviously canceled/postponed.

Obviously, in today’s world, all things are subject to change but that is the current plan.

My Take:

  • I am definitely interested to see what happens after Wrestlemania 36. I could see a lot more Superstars refusing to work the tapings. Right now, most of them likely just want to get through their storylines for Wrestlemania and that will be it.
