3) Drew McIntyre Winning The WWE Title Was A Last-Minute Decision
According to Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, a lot of the key players in WWE were under the impression (before RAW) that we were getting Randy Orton vs Roman Reigns at Survivor Series. This hints that WWE putting the title on Drew McIntyre was a last-minute decision.
WrestlingNews.co also added the following:
WrestlingNews.co spoke with two people on Monday afternoon who were still under the impression that it was still Orton vs. Reigns on Sunday. There were people there who would usually know these things and did not hear about the plans changing until the match took place.
My Take:
- I think that WWE made the right call. Drew deserves another reign as he is on fire right now.
2) The Plan For The New WWE ThunderDome Location
WWE announced recently that they will be moving the ThunderDome to Tropicana Field in Tampa Bay, Florida. According to @Wrestlevotes, fans shouldn’t expect a drastic change to the structure when it moves. It will likely look very similar to what we are seeing now:

My Take:
- I guess that makes sense as they can likely just transport it to the new venue. I don’t mind the look of the current ThunderDome, so I am not going to complain.
