1) WWE’s New Promotion Tactic For Drew McIntyre
During an interview with Arda Ocal of ESPN, Drew McIntyre spoke about his career and current role as WWE Champion.
The interesting part of this interview came during the intro. Drew was introduced as “the star of Monday Night RAW”.
Ocal ended up revealing to McIntyre that it was an official WWE edict to promote him as “the star of Monday Night RAW”. This means that WWE is telling news outlets to promote Drew with that tagline when they have him on their shows.
My Take:
- To me, this shows how all-in that WWE is going on Drew McIntyre. As a McIntyre fan, I am excited to see this big push that he is receiving and I think that he has done great so far. It also probably makes sense to push him as the main star of RAW after Becky Lynch’s departure from the company.
