Rumor Roundup: WWE’s Interesting Offer To Matt Hardy, Matches Not Happening At Wrestlemania 36, More

3) Three Matches Being Advertised For An Upcoming Episode Of RAW

The Capital One Arena in Washington is advertising three matches for the March 9th episode of RAW. This will be one night after the Elimination Chamber PPV. Here are the matches that are being advertised:

— Drew McIntyre vs Randy Orton.

— The Street Profits vs Seth Rollins & Murphy for the RAW Tag Team Championships.

— Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair vs The Kabuki Warriors for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships.

My Take:

  • This is a new advertisement, so it will be interesting to see which of these matches actually take place. McIntyre vs Orton seems likely as the dark match that won’t air on television. The other two I could see taking place.

2) Wrestlemania 36 Card Is In A ‘State Of Flux’ On Smackdown

On Busted Open Radio, Bubba Ray Dudley revealed that he has heard the majority of Smackdown matches are in a ‘state of flux’ for Wrestlemania 36.

Here is what Bubba had to say:

“I’ve heard rumblings within the WWE. Nothing is set in stone on on the SmackDown side of WrestleMania. When it comes to the Universal Championship for WrestleMania, a lot of matches are in a ‘state of flux.’ I think we only have two definitive matches so far set, you know, Brock [Lesnar] and Drew McIntyre plus Charlotte [Flair] and Rhea [Ripley], everything else is up for grabs.”

My Take:

  • I wonder what changed for them to scramble so much on the Smackdown side of things. Maybe Vince woke up and just decided that everything needs to change? It will be an interesting few weeks to see what the card looks like.
