Rumor Roundup: WWE Superstars Upset With Vince McMahon, Plans For Ronda Rousey In WWE, More

3) Note On The WWE Employee Who Tested Positive For The Coronavirus

News broke this weekend that a WWE employee recently tested positive for coronavirus. This person was said to be an on-screen talent but not a wrestler.

According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, the person who tested positive also worked Wrestlemania 36:

PWInsider.com has confirmed the person who tested positive was not at this week’s Smackdown taping.   The person did work Wrestlemania 36.

My Take:

  • Let’s hope that nobody else in WWE gets it but it seems inevitable at this point with them still running shows.

2) The Plans For The Next WWE Draft

Ringside News says that WWE is considering doing the next WWE Draft in October.

This would coincide with the one-year anniversary of Smackdown’s debut on FOX:

Our source further noted that “the rumor inside the company is that it will correspond with the one-year anniversary of the FOX premiere.”

My Take:

  • This would make sense as the draft last year took place in October. I think that WWE can manage with fresh storylines over the next several months and don’t need to change up the rosters just yet. I would also prefer a draft to a Superstar Shake-up.
