3) WWE Planning To Revitalize Their Product
According to Ryan Satin of Pro Wrestling Sheet, WWE is planning to revitalize the WWE product with its move to the Amway Center in Orlando.
Here is what Satin Tweeted:
My Take:
- I am not going to complain about a change. Things have gotten a bit stale at the WWE Performance Center and I am excited to see them try new things.
2) Rumor Killer On Why WWE Is Doing Payback Right After Summerslam
According to Ringside News, there is no truth to the rumor that WWE is doing Payback in order to burn out wrestling fans before ‘AEW All Out’.
Here is what the site wrote:
The idea is out there that WWE wanted to pull a “scorched Earth” situation by flooding the market with pro wrestling action. All Out is on September 5th and the proposed idea is that WWE wanted to load up the two weekends prior to that with pro wrestling to “burn out” fans.
Ringside News has learned that this scorched Earth theory has nothing to do with why WWE held the event. This was simply done as a means to continue their stories from SummerSlam.
My Take:
- I didn’t buy that rumor but I still am confused as to why WWE would do back-to-back weekend PPV events. I hope that they have a good plan in place.
