- These would be pretty dope additions to the WWE Network. Both promotions have had some good matches over the years and many current WWE stars have wrestled for them.
2) The Plan For The Main Event Of Summerslam
According to Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline, WWE was planning to tape a segment between Randy Orton and Drew McIntyre on RAW this week. This segment would set up their WWE Title match at Summerslam, which will be the (likely) main event.
This segment didn’t air on RAW this week but it seems likely that they are delaying it for an upcoming episode:
“The big item on tonight’s show was originally to be an angle involving Orton and Drew McIntyre to set up their planned WWE Championship match as the main event for SummerSlam
My Take:
- I am definitely down for a feud between Orton and McIntyre. Both guys are killing it right now and I think that it would be a great match.
