Rumor Roundup: WWE Making A Change To PPV Booking, A “First Time Ever” Match At TLC, More

1) WWE Making A Change To PPV Booking

According to journalist Tom Colohue, WWE has been discussing making some changes to the way that they book PPV events.

Specifically, WWE wants to avoid pissing off fans with a lot of screwy finishes for PPV matches. For example, we saw the WWE Universe upset after Bray Wyatt vs Seth Rollins ended in a referee stoppage, which ended the Hell in a Cell PPV on a sour note.

Here is what Colohue said:

Particularly since Hell in a Cell, discussions have definitely taken place about making sure we get a few more clean finishes. We saw that in the way that Bray Wyatt won the title [against Rollins at Crown Jewel]. They don’t want to be having those sort of finishes, even in Triple Threats.”

If true, we will likely start seeing a lot more clean finishes at PPV events moving forward. This will be a rumor to keep our eyes on at both Survivor Series and TLC.
