Rumor Roundup: WWE Has Big Plans For NXT Star, Scrapped Title Change Plans, More

3) WWE Implements New Policy For Employees

According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, WWE has implemented a new policy for its office employees. This policy will now allow their office workers to choose if they want to work from home or not.

Here is what Johnson wrote:

The major news was that the company is instituting a flexible work policy going forward.  Depending on their role for the company, going forward, employees can choose to work from the office or home and will not be required to return full-time to the office.

My Take:

  • This seems like a smart decision to decrease the risk of a COVID-19 outbreak at WWE headquarters.

2) Two WWE Main Roster Call-Ups Put On Hold

According to Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful, Chelsea Green and Vanessa Borne were supposed to get called up to the WWE main roster earlier this year.

These plans have been put on hold after Paul Heyman was removed from his role as the guy in charge of RAW. Here is what Sapp wrote:

Chelsea Green posted a tweet recently noting that she’d not wrestled since May 27, with a “cursing” emoji next to it. Green was “called up” as far back as May after an impressive series of matches involving Charlotte Flair. However, when Paul Heyman was removed from his spot on WWE Raw, plans involving Chelsea Green were put on hold. Vanessa Borne had also been “called up” earlier this year, but hasn’t had any creative provided for her, either.

My Take:

  • I thought both of them were going to be in RETRIBUTION, which didn’t happen. I am interested to see what WWE ends up doing with both of them.
