Rumor Roundup: WWE Hall Of Fame Ceremony Plans, The Presentation Of WM 37, More

3) The Capacity Of Wrestlemania 37

According to reporter Eduardo A. Encina, the capacity of Wrestlemania 37 will be 25,000 fans for each night. This is much lower than the rumor mill was suggesting of WWE doing 45,000 fans per night.

Here is what Encina Tweeted:

Capacity for next month’s #Wrestlemania at Raymond James will be approximately 25,000 fans for each of two nights of the event. That’s 36 percent of full capacity for what the event would hold at Raymond James in a normal year.

My Take:

  • This makes sense as WWE will want to be as safe as possible when putting on the show. 25,000 sounds like a reasonable amount during these times.

2) The Presentation Of Wrestlemania 37

According to Sean Ross Sapp on Fightful Select (subscribe here), Vince McMahon has warmed up to the idea of using cardboard cutouts at Wrestlemania 37. This is something that was done by the NFL for the Super Bowl this year.

This comes after the previous rumors that Vince was against the idea. It looks like he has changed his tune.

My Take:

  • The cardboard cutouts make sense as a way to make the stadium look full, even though it won’t be. Seems like a no-brainer to me.
