3) An Idea Pitched For Bobby Lashley
Season Ross Sapp recently interviewed Lio Rush. During this, Rush confirmed an idea that Vince McMahon pitched for Bobby Lashley.
Do you remember when Lashley was slapping his own butt on RAW for a few weeks? This didn’t end up amounting to anything. Vince apparently pitched that Elias should break his guitar over Lashley’s butt:

- This is such a Vince McMahon idea. I can hear him saying “it will be such good shit pal” in my head.
2) Daniel Bryan Was Always Planned For The MITB Ladder Match
According to Dave Meltzer in the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Daniel Bryan was always planned for the Money in the Bank ladder match:
Even though Zayn is IC champion and Mania seemed to start a long-term program with Bryan, Bryan was always booked to be in MITB before Zayn made the call not to attend the recent tapings
This means that Sami Zayn’s recent decision to miss Smackdown tapings did not affect any of WWE’s booking:
My Take:
- This makes a lot of sense to me. King Corbin seems to be filling in for Sami Zayn on Smackdown right now. I can’t think of any other reason why Corbin is now aligned with Shinsuke Nakamura and Cesaro.
