3) WWE Cutting Pay For Referees
According to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, WWE referees have been forced to take a pay cut.
The belief is that these cuts are as much as 20 percent of their pay. This comes after top WWE executives also took pay cuts recently.
My Take:
- This definitely sucks for the referees and I feel bad for them.
2) Why The Bray Wyatt-Braun Strowman Feud Didn’t Continue
According to journalist Tom Colohue, Bray Wyatt has been given some time off by WWE after the birth of his second child. This is why his feud with Braun Strowman didn’t continue after the Money in the Bank PPV.
Here is what Colohue had to say:
In news that won’t surprise anyone now, I, unfortunately, waited too long to break this one, Bray Wyatt has been given time off for the birth of his second child. That child has now been born. He posted a picture on Twitter, go say hi, and he’s expected to have a few more weeks off to self-isolate again afterwards and then will probably return to continue his feud as The Fiend with Braun Strowman. It’s nice that every now and then they are able to give some people some time off even though they don’t have that fuller roster at the moment. The shows have been good regardless.
My Take:
- This makes sense as to why WWE is doing Braun vs John Morrison and The Miz at Backlash. That has filler feud written all over it.
