Rumor Roundup: Why WWE Superstars Aren’t Being Used In The Crowd, Drew McIntyre’s Next Challenger, More

3) WWE Legend Is No Longer Under Contract

Over the past few days, there has been some buzz floating around about Sting. According to Ryan Satin of Pro Wrestling Sheet, Sting is no longer under contract with WWE.

Here is what Satin wrote:

Pro Wrestling Sheet has learned Sting is not currently under contract with WWE.

Sources tell us that despite the wrestling legend not being under contract at the moment, it does not mean the two sides wont work out a possible merchandising deal going forward.

My Take:

  • Sting to AEW would be interesting. It would be fun to see him back on TNT again.

2) The Undertaker’s Next Match

Since AJ Styles returned to WWE television, he has been keeping his feud alive with The Undertaker.

On Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer speculated that the plan is for Styles and The Undertaker to face off again but in a more traditional match this time.

My Take:

  • I loved the Boneyard match and I would love to see them face off again. If The Undertaker wants a really good match to end his career, he isn’t going to find a better opponent than AJ Styles.
