5) Why WWE Taped Braun Strowman vs Bray Wyatt In Advance
The Money in the Bank ladder matches were taped in advance this year. A rumor came out that suggested all of the other matches that took place at the WWE Performance Center were live. It turns out that this isn’t completely true, as WWE reportedly taped Braun Strowman vs Bray Wyatt in advance.
According to WrestlingNews.co, this was taped because they didn’t want to risk showing the puppeteers on camera during the match:
The Money In The Bank ladder matches were not the only portions of the show that were pre-taped.
WWE taped the Bray Wyatt vs. Braun Strowman match in advance. The reason for this was that they didn’t want to risk accidentally showing the puppeteers on camera when Bray’s puppets appeared during the match.
My Take:
- I did enjoy the puppets in the crowd for the match. It was a creative way for WWE to do things during the empty arena shows. I would like to see more creative stuff like this moving forward.
4) Things Cut From The Money In The Bank Ladder Matches
According to journalist Tom Colohue, WWE cut some sections from the Money in the Bank ladder matches.

My Take:
- The ladder matches did seem shorter than I was expecting. Not complaining but I figured they would go for like an hour based on WWE’s past history. Either way, I still loved the matches.
