1) Why Sting Left WWE
According to a report from Wrestletalk, Sting was unhappy with how WWE treated him. This led to him leaving the company and jumping to AEW.
Here is what the site wrote:
WrestleTalk’s Louis Dangoor can now exclusively reveal that Sting was unhappy with how WWE treated him during his time with the company. We were also told that he joined AEW to do “something good” for the fans for his final full-time gig.
It is now speculated that Vince McMahon turning down Sting’s idea for a cinematic match against The Undertaker also contributed to his unhappiness:
We weren’t given specific examples of how Sting felt the company mistreated him, but could potentially be down to the fact that his reported desire to have a cinematic match with The Undertaker wasn’t met.
My Take:
- I was on the side who didn’t think that Sting should wrestle again due to his neck. While saying that, a cinematic match against the Undertaker would have been pretty cool and seems like a missed opportunity for WWE.
