1) Why MVP Was Used On RAW
MVP was involved in a segment with Drew McIntyre on RAW this week. The segment ended with MVP taking a ‘Claymore’ from McIntyre.
According to Mike Johnson of PWinsider, there is some talk backstage about MVP working in a backstage role for WWE moving forward.
Here is what Johnson wrote:
The word making the rounds over the last several weeks has been that MVP was possibly coming in to work as a Producer for the company. That talk persisted tonight backstage at Raw, so if all works out, that looks to be his eventual role for the company.
My Take:
- I was a bit confused seeing MVP on RAW because he recently posted on Instagram that he wrestled his final match for WWE. It makes sense to me that WWE has hired him and will use him in a backstage capacity (with the occasional TV spot like we saw on RAW).
