3) Will There Be Any More NXT Matches At Wrestlemania 36?
On PWInsider Elite’s audio Q&A, Mike Johnson was asked if Charlotte Flair vs Rhea Ripley will be the only NXT match on the card at Wrestlemania 36.
Here is what Johnson said (via Ringside News):
“As of yesterday I was told that the NXT Women’s Championship that will be the only currently planned as of today — the only NXT Championship match at WrestleMania.”
“As of right now I was told that only Charlotte vs Rhea or Bianca if it becomes a 3-way which was not the original plan — that will be the NXT Championship match that will be featured on that show.”
My Take:
- This would make sense as there are already going to be a lot of matches on the card. More NXT Title matches would just clog it up and take away from Rhea vs Charlotte.
2) The Plans For The Men’s Elimination Chamber
An advertisement recently came out that revealed the participants for the men’s Elimination Chamber match. Roman Reigns vs Braun Strowman vs. Daniel Bryan vs Shinsuke Nakamura vs King Corbin vs Robert Roode was the match being advertised.
On Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer confirmed that this is the plan for the match and this advertisement is accurate.
My Take:
- Robert Roode sticks out like a sore thumb to me. I would think that Sheamus would be a better fit for that spot.
