Rumor Roundup: Why Jimmy Uso Wasn’t Removed From WWE TV, Scrapped Plans For Bray Wyatt, More

3) More Released WWE Stars To Head To Ring Of Honor?

According to Sean Ross Sapp on Fightful Select (subscribe here), Ring of Honor has reached out to multiple Superstars who were recently released by WWE. This includes Chelsea Green, who showed up at the Best In The World event this weekend.

Here is what Sapp wrote:

ROH has reached out to “multiple” recent WWE releases, with a deal in place for one to come into the company imminently. We’ve also heard of them reaching out to talent for their revamped women’s divisions.

My Take:

  • It will be interesting to see who else goes to Ring of Honor. WWE has released a lot of talent over the past few months, so they have a lot of great talent to choose from.

2) Chelsea Green Let Out Of Her Non-Compete Clause Early By WWE

According to Sean Ross Sapp on Twitter, WWE let Chelsea Green out of her non-compete clause early. This allowed her to appear at Best In The World before her clause officially ended.

Here is what Sapp Tweeted:

You’ll notice this is before Chelsea Green’s non-compete was scheduled to be up. We confirmed with WWE sources recently that she was one of those that asked for an early out on it.

My Take:

  • I wish Chelsea the best. I hope that she kills it in ROH and makes WWE regret that they let her go.
