1) Who Is Behind Apollo Crews’ Recent Push
Apollo Crews has been getting a bit of a push over the past few weeks on Monday Night RAW. He put on a strong match against Aleister Black a few weeks ago. He also qualified for the men’s Money in the Bank ladder match.
According to journalist Tom Colohue, Paul Heyman is the man behind Apollo Crews’ recent push on RAW. Here is what he wrote:
There are definitely a few people who wanted to see him pushed. Paul Heyman wanted to get a hold of him on RAW. He got him and we saw a great match with Aleister Black and he’s had a match with MVP now.
While I don’t think this is his last chance, this is definitely his best chance.
My Take:
- The knock against Apollo Crews is that he is an incredible talent but doesn’t have a character. This is his big shot in WWE and I hope that he is able to get fans behind him. I am hopeful for him now that Heyman is in his corner.
