3) Wade Barrett Not Returning To WWE As A Wrestler
It was reported this week by PWInsider that Wade Barrett is in talks with WWE for a full-time return to the company. I have some “bad news” for fans who want to see him back in the ring though.
Barrett’s deal will be for strictly an announcer role and not as an in-ring performer. Here is what the report had to say:
There had been WWE interest in Bennett dating back to early 2020 as an announcer. We are told that if the two sides come to terms, it would be for Bennett to announce, not return as a full-time in-ring performer. There was talk over the last few days that Bennett could perhaps be plugged into NXT UK as an announcer.
My Take:
- I am just happy that Barrett is back in the company and I think that he is a good fit for commentary on NXT and NXT UK. Maybe down the road, they can convince him to get back into the ring? I am hopeful that it could happen.
2) Mia Yim To Be In Retribution?
After this week’s episode of RAW, many fans are speculating that one of the members of Retribution will be revealed to be Mia Yim.

My Take:
- Mia would be a solid addition to this group. She isn’t someone who I see winning the NXT Title but she could find more success on the main roster.
