Rumor Roundup: What Becky Lynch Has Pitched To WWE Management, Plans For NXT’s New Faction, More

3) Nia Jax Went To Management About An Unnamed Superstar Hurting Alexa Bliss

During a recent live stream, Nia Jax told the story about the time that she spoke up for Alexa Bliss during her matches with an unnamed Superstar.

This unnamed Superstar was hurting Alexa during their matches, which caused Nia to step in and talk to WWE management for her. Here is what Nia said during the stream:

“She was working an angle and she was continuously getting hurt [in a] certain angle with somebody. I remember her not saying anything, specifically because she wanted to be a team player. She was so nervous and she wanted to be a team player…Me personally from the outside looking in, I was so angry. I was like, ‘no, she cannot do this anymore.’ I personally would not allow her to get back in the ring to get hurt again. I had to go to the higher-ups and I had to put down a certain foot and say, ‘listen, Lexi is five foot nothing, 100 pounds getting thrown around like a ragdoll and injured every night.’”

“I was like put me in. I’m a 6-foot 300-pound bitch. I can handle it. I understand there’s a certain thing of being quiet and taking it and being like no, I want to be a team player. And there’s another side where it’s like sh*t dude, I can’t allow to see one of my good friends who I want to be here in five years so I can continue to work her..like getting hurt. I need to stand up and freaking be there for her and make sure that her livelihood is going to be okay when she’s done here.”

My Take:

  • The speculation from fans is that Nia is talking about Ronda Rousey. This is because there were lots of rumors about Ronda being rough on Alexa during their feud back in 2018. That is only speculation though.

2) Corey Graves Thinking About Wrestling Again?

Corey Graves was speaking to Edge on the latest episode of his podcast, After The Bell. During this podcast, Graves revealed that Edge has inspired him to think about his own wrestling future again.

Graves was forced to retire many years ago due to head injuries and made the transition into commentating. Here is what Graves said:

You and I have gotten along well for quite some time. Watching it, honestly man, it was inspiring and I would say at two or three different points I went, ‘I live in Pittsburgh now. I should go find Dr. Maroon.’ It just gave me that urge to do all this all over again and I don’t know if that’s a possibility, but the thought was planted in my brain for quite some time.”

My Take:

  • I would be interested to see Graves wrestle. He did have some potential it looked like, so I wouldn’t mind seeing him try.
