3) Another NXT Superstar Released
According to Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline, Rachael Evers was also released by WWE a few weeks ago. Here is an excerpt from the site:
The now former Rachael Evers announced her comeback with a video posted to Twitter Wednesday night as she was part of the recent WWE/NXT releases, confirmed by our Dave Meltzer.
Evers is the daughter of Paul Ellering, who was the manager of the Road Warriors and also of The AOP. She is best known for taking part in the Mae Young Classic tournament and has made a few NXT television appearances.
My Take:
- I always liked Rachael and thought that she had a lot of potential. I will follow her career and see what she does next.
2) Ric Flair’s Status With WWE
We noted a few days ago that Sting is no longer under contract with WWE. This has led to speculation that the legend could be making an appearance on AEW television soon. While it is unclear what Sting is going to do, we have an update for you on the status of another legend, Ric Flair.
According to Wrestling INC, Ric Flair has recently signed a new contract with WWE:
Wrestling Inc. has confirmed that Flair had since signed a new deal and is currently under contract with WWE.
My Take:
- I didn’t really think that Ric Flair would jump to AEW but you never know, money talks.
