Rumor Roundup: Vince’s Original Idea For The WWE Network, The Status Of MITB, More

Here are some of the latest WWE rumors that are floating around.

5) The Status Of The Money In The Bank PPV

The Money in the Bank PPV was scheduled to take place on May 9th in Baltimore. This was originally scheduled to be the next WWE PPV event following Wrestlemania 36.

According to @Wrestlevotes, the Money In The Bank PPV is going to be postponed by WWE. Here is what the account Tweeted:

My Take:

  • This is smart because we still don’t know how long the coronavirus pandemic will last for. Money in the Bank is an important PPV and if they can save it for a few months down the road with a crowd in attendance, they should.

4) Update On If Anyone In WWE Has Tested Positive For The Coronavirus

A bit of good news to pass your way. According to Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, no WWE Superstar has tested positive for the coronavirus.

Here is what Meltzer wrote:

Nobody in WWE has tested positive for coronavirus. Brooke came to work more than a week ago and she was ill and was told to go home and quarantine herself. Andrade suffered what was called a not that serious rib injury, but serious enough that he couldn’t do WrestleMania, while performing in a tag team match on 3/23.

My Take:

  • This is great to hear. This could obviously change in the upcoming weeks so let’s not get too ahead of ourselves. Still, several WWE stars were sick recently so this is some good news for now.
