3) New WWE Superstar Names
According to Heel By Nature, WWE recently filed for the following trademarks:
- The Witch
- Diamond Mine
- The Bridge
- Nu Wu
- Qi Yue
- The Covenanter
- Quan Tuo
- Qiao Liang
- Ji Lu
These names appear to be for the new Chinese ‘Hand’ faction as WWE also filed for the names separately as Chinese-language characters.
My Take:
- I am really intrigued by this entire ‘Hand’ faction. I can’t wait to see what comes from it.
2) Possible Botched Spot On RAW
According to Bryan Alvarez on Wrestling Observer Live, there was a botched spot during this week’s episode of RAW. This came when Ric Flair tripped Charlotte Flair and cost her the match.
Alvarez says that Ric was actually supposed to trip Peyton Royce but this ended up getting messed up. Here is what he said:
“I have just been alerted by the way for those of you that watched Raw, that in fact the story was supposed to be that Ric was trying to trip Peyton and it was supposed to be an accident.”
My Take:
- I am not sure about this one. It seemed to be a pretty good segment where Ric was trying to help out Lacey Evans, who was flirting with him.
