Rumor Roundup: Vince McMahon’s Feelings About The Lashley-Lana Arrest, Japanese Star To Wrestle For WWE In 2020, More

3) New Backstage Producer In WWE

According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, Lance Storm started working for WWE this week. He will be a backstage producer for the company moving forward.

Here is what Johnson wrote:

Lance Storm officially started yesterday as a Producer for WWE at last night’s Raw taping.  The decorated veteran recently shut down his SWA Wrestling Academy in Calgary, leading to his WWE return.  Storm left WWE in 2005 and had recently done some producing work for Impact Wrestling.

This comes after some rumors were floating around that Lance Storm was already in WWE and working with Dominik Mysterio. It appears as if those rumors were false as Storm just started with the company.

My Take: Lance was always a great worker so I am sure that he will excel as a producer. I wish him luck.

2) Vince McMahon “Cooled Off” On WWE Superstar

According to a rumor via WrestlingNews.co, Vince McMahon has recently cooled off on Cedric Alexander’s push. This comes after rumors that Paul Heyman was extremely high on Alexander.

Here is an excerpt from the site:

“Everything I’ve heard about him is that he is well-liked backstage and I have not heard of anything that he might have done to rub people the wrong way so it looks like McMahon simply cooled off on him.”

There does seem to be some validity to this as Alexander lost to Mojo Rawley at the latest taping for WWE Main Event. Quite the drop for him after being featured on RAW on a weekly basis.

My Take: I like Cedric so I hope that things change for him soon. There is so much talent on RAW right now though that he has a large hill to climb. I think that he would have been better off being moved to Smackdown during the WWE Draft.
