3) The Plans For The Next NXT Takeover Special
John Pollock of Post Wrestling recently posted WWE’s schedule for their upcoming television tapings. On this schedule, an NXT Takeover special is being listed for August 22nd.
This is one night prior to Summerslam. It appears as if this will be the date of the next Takeover event, despite it not being officially announced by WWE.
My Take:
- Summerslam weekend is always one of my favorites of the year. I am glad that a Takeover event is still happening on that weekend.
2) Rumor On The Match Card At Extreme Rules
According to CageSide Seats, the Extreme Rules PPV is expected to feature more matches than usual. They also say that some of these matches will be short.
Here is what the site wrote:
Extreme Rules is expected to be loaded with matches, even if they don’t get a lot of time.
My Take:
- On our Extreme Rules predictions, we have 11 matches listed. This would be more than what WWE has been doing at the past few PPV events.
