Rumor Roundup: Vince McMahon Is Mad At Some Main Roster Talent, New WWE Brand Coming, More

3) WWE Is Upset At Snoop Dogg

On Wrestling Observer Radio, Bryan Alvarez noted that there are people in WWE who are “very upset” about Snoop Dogg making an appearance for AEW.

For those who missed it, it was announced that Snoop will be appearing on AEW’s ‘New Year’s Smash’ episode on January 6th.

My Take:

  • I am not sure if I am buying that there are very upset. They were probably upset in the moment but it seems silly to hold a grudge for someone making a single appearance. If Snoop continues to appear on the show though, I could see some anger from WWE’s side. Either way, Snoop Dogg probably doesn’t care.

2) Vince McMahon Is Mad At Some Main Roster Talent

According to Dave Meltzer in the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Vince McMahon is mad at the working ability of some of the big guys on the WWE main roster.

Here is what Meltzer wrote:

“Vince McMahon threw a fit about the working ability of certain guys on the main roster, mad in particular about some of the big guys. He’s ordered some of the guys back to the Performance Center with two classes per week with Adam Pearce and Drew Gulak as instructors.”

My Take:

  • An interesting part here is that Drew Gulak is someone who WWE trusts to work with their talent. That definitely hints at a trainer role in his future.
