Rumor Roundup: Update On The WWE PPV Schedule, Bayley At Wrestlemania 37, More

3) WWE Touring Update

According to Mike Johnson of PWinsider, WWE is not planning to start touring after Wrestlemania 37. The company is going to remain at the ThunderDome for the time being.

Here is what Johnson wrote:

For those of you hoping that Wrestlemania this weekend would be the window that opens things up for WWE to return to live events on the road, the company isn’t there yet.

There are no live event/house show touring dates on the calendar for the company through this July, PWInsider.com has learned.

All Post-Wrestlemania Raws, Smackdowns and PPVs through July are currently slated for the Thunderdome’s new location at The Yuengling Center.

WWE NXT will continue on at the Capitol Wrestling Center outside of Orlando, Florida.

My Take:

  • This makes sense but maybe that will change in a few more months. We will have to wait and see.

2) Logan Paul Had Previous Issues In WWE

According to Ringside News, Logan Paul had some issues the last time that he was backstage at a WWE show. While saying that, there have been no issues since he returned to the company.

Here is what the site wrote about Paul:

A tenured member of the creative team told us that Logan Paul was backstage once before and there were “problems.” This time around is much different because of the high-dollar WWE paycheck coming his way.

We asked whether filming a vlog backstage was the problem. The response: “I don’t know if it was him trying to film is vlog more than what he was doing in the vlog that caused the problem.”

My Take:

  • This makes sense as Logan’s reputation is controversial. WWE is smart to use someone of his fame though at Wrestlemania as he will definitely bring in some extra eyeballs to the event.
