3) Sting Leaving WWE?
According to various reports, WWE has removed all of Sting’s merchandise from WWE Shop. They have also removed Sting’s legends page on WWE Shop.
This seems to hint at Sting possibly leaving WWE (he was under contract with them for merchandise).
My Take:
- Sting to AEW? This seems like the most likely scenario and Sting was always a loyal TNT guy. I wouldn’t be shocked to see it happen.
2) Stephanie McMahon Has Been Given Increased Responsibilities In WWE
According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, Stephanie McMahon has recently been given some more responsibilities in WWE. This has to do with the business side of things.
Here is what Johnson wrote:
In asking around, we are told that the company’s Global Sales and Partnerships now fall under Stephanie’s purview, which would include sponsorships and other relationships. John Brody, who was heading that area, is still with the company in the same role, but now reports to McMahon.
My Take:
- Stephanie seems to really enjoy the marketing and business aspect of running WWE. This comes after the rumors last month that she turned down the role of being executive director of Monday Night RAW.
