Here are some of the latest WWE rumors that are floating around.
5) RAW Ratings Show An Improvement In Specific Demographic
According to Dave Meltzer on Twitter, this week’s episode of RAW was a big success in terms of males from ages 12 to 34. The episode saw a big increase in viewership for that demographic.
Here is what Meltzer Tweeted:
Ratings story should be on the main site shortly. Short version, even though total viewers were identical to last week, the strategy they employed whether you liked it or not, was a huge success with men/boys 12-34. Not so much elsewhere, but that still makes it a success.
My Take:
- Sounds like a positive for WWE. Seems like fans enjoyed the storyline with The Miz and Bobby Lashley, which kept them watching for the entire show.
4) NXT Changing Nights?
A big rumor going around is that NXT will be moving from Wednesday to Tuesday nights. This was first reported by the Mat Men podcast.
Here is what they Tweeted:
Hearing from a very reliable source that NXT will be moving to Tuesdays starting 4/13. Should be announced fairly soon.
My Take:
- This would be a great move for fans who want to watch both NXT and AEW each week.
