Rumor Roundup: Update On Kairi Sane’s Future In WWE, The Plans For After Summerslam, More

Here are some of the latest WWE rumors that are floating around.

5) Another WWE Network Special Happening Right After Summerslam?

According to Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful, there has been some talk about WWE doing another Network special on the weekend after Summerslam.

Here is what Sapp Tweeted:

My Take:

  • My only guess is that they do the WWE Hall of Fame ceremony the week after Summerslam? This would make sense as they haven’t done the event yet and they need to find time for it.

4) Update On How Many People In WWE Have Tested Positive For COVID-19

According to Ryan Satin of Pro Wrestling Sheet, there have been at least 30 people in WWE who have tested positive for COVID-19.

Here is what Satin wrote:

According to sources, additional people in WWE tested positive for COVID-19 last week during the most recent round of testing before TV tapings.

As we first reported, more testing was done in WWE last week after multiple people who had been at the PC tested positive for COVID-19. From what we’ve been told, there have been at least 30 people in total at the PC who’ve tested positive for the virus over the past three weeks. This includes behind the scenes workers and in-ring talent.

My Take:

  • Let’s just hope that everybody affected is able to fully recover and has no additional issues. WWE has ramped up protective measures, so hopefully things don’t get worse.
