Here are some of the latest WWE rumors that are floating around.
5) Stephanie McMahon Turned Down A Big WWE Role
According to a report from Sean Ross Sapp on Fightful Select (subscribe here), Stephanie McMahon turned down a big role in WWE. Stephanie apparently turned down becoming the Executive Director of Raw. This is because she is happy with her current role within the company as the chief brand officer.
Here is what Sapp wrote:
For those that wondered why Shane McMahon, Triple H or Stephanie weren’t put in that role, we’re told that Stephanie McMahon didn’t want that spot as she was happy in the one she has. Most people on Raw assumed upon Heyman’s promotion and Bischoff’s hiring that if Triple H wanted the role, he’d have it.
My Take:
- I feel like I want to see Stephanie running RAW and Shane running Smackdown. Not as on-screen General Managers but as behind-the-scenes directors. That would be an interesting battle between siblings and it would be competitive.
4) WWE Star Getting A New Theme Song
According to a report from Mike Johnson of PWInsider, Keith Lee recently recorded some new vocals. This will be for a new version of his WWE theme song.
Here is what Johnson wrote:
Keith Lee is in New York City today, doing vocals for a new version of his WWE entrance theme.
My Take:
- There were a lot of fans who complained about Lee’s theme getting changed when he moved to the WWE main roster. Hopefully this now makes them happy.
