3) How Long Ivar Will Be Out Of Action For
Ivar of the Viking Raiders was injured during a recent episode of RAW. Unfortunately, it turns out that Ivar is now going to have to get neck surgery.
On Wrestling Observer Radio, it was noted that Ivar will likely be out of action for about a year after getting the surgery done. It could be even longer depending on how his recovery goes.
My Take:
- This sucks as that likely means Erik will be kept off television as well. I wish Ivar the best of luck in his recovery and I hope that he is able to come back at full strength.
2) Possible Hint That Wrestlemania 37 Will Be Moved
According to Wrestling INC, it looks like WWE could be dealing with some scheduling conflicts at Wrestlemania 37. NXT Takeover, Smackdown, RAW, and the WWE Hall of Fame ceremony were all supposed to take place at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. There is now a musical group that is selling tickets for Wrestlemania 37 weekend in the Staples Center, which would conflict with those WWE shows.
Here is what the site wrote:
WWE is apparently facing some scheduling conflicts that week. Musical group Grupo Firme announced in August that they will play the Staples Center that week. The Staples Center website is selling tickets for Grupo Firme shows on Friday, March 26, 2021 and Saturday, March 27th, which would conflict with Friday Night SmackDown and NXT TakeOver.
My Take:
- To me, this is a hint that WWE is planning to move Wrestlemania 37 from Los Angeles. With everything going on in the world right now, this seemed likely anyways but this seems to be a pretty strong hint. I would do the show in Tampa Bay since they didn’t get to do it last year. Then, they can still do the smaller shows in Orlando or Tampa Bay.
