Rumor Roundup: Two Big Names Competing At Wrestlemania 37? WWE’s New Contract, More

3) Plans For Another WWE Performance Center

Triple H was recently interviewed by The Hindu. During this, he teased that WWE will be creating an Indian Performance Center at some point.

Here is what Triple H said:

“The intent and desire is to come to India and recruit enough athletes. Certainly, there is a desire amongst Indian people for us to be on the ground as well. At some point, we would love to have a Performance Center, or more than one center, in India, have athletes train there and produce localized WWE content. When you see talents from your region succeed locally to get to the bigger stages, and to watch their careers develop, that is the goal. Because the only thing bigger than WWE in India is cricket. That’s something to be said,”

My Take:

  • WWE has always tried to establish themselves in the Indian market. This does seem like the next logical step.

2) Who Produced The ‘Superstar Spectacle’

According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, it was Triple H who was behind the production of the ‘Superstar Spectacle’ that WWE produced with talent from India. This includes the usual team who produce NXT and NXT UK.

Here is what Johnson wrote:

We are told that while the show is produced out of the ThunderDome, Triple H was in charge of the production and it was very much the same team that works on NXT and NXT UK overseeing the Superstar Spectacle.

My Take:

  • I can’t wait to watch this event. Going to be fun to get introduced to all of the new Indian talent.
