Rumor Roundup: The Reason Why Wrestlemania 36 Wasn’t Postponed, How WWE Is Protecting Superstar, More

3) The Plan If Wrestlemania 36 Had Been Postponed

According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, June 7th was the date that was rumored among WWE Superstars for Wrestlemania 36 if it was going to be postponed.

Here is what Johnson wrote:

There was a 6/7 date rumored among WWE talents last Thursday and Friday, but we have yet to confirm there was anything concrete to this rumor.  We know that there has been a move towards postponing the show in certain circles in the company but Vince McMahon has been said to be adamant that there will be a Wrestlemania on 4/5.

My Take:

  • June 7th is a date that has been popping up a lot. That looks to be the date WWE was targeting before they moved the show to the WWE Performance Center. It also could end up being the date if they are forced to cancel the event in Orlando.

2) WWE Is Unsure About The Length Of Wrestlemania 36

According to Ryan Satin of Pro Wrestling Sheet, WWE has not yet made a decision on how long Wrestlemania 36 will be.

Here is what he Tweeted:

My Take:

  • If it was up to me, I would scrap all of the battle royal matches for sure. I would also keep the card to around 8 matches. They can do the smaller matches on RAW and Smackdown. WWE is going to need content for upcoming episodes of RAW and Smackdown, so they should keep some of those matches for those episodes instead.
