3) Backstage Reaction To Superstars Possibly Traveling Again
There was a report recently that suggested WWE is looking to travel again soon for their weekly episodes of RAW and Smackdown. According to Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful, there was frustration backstage when the WWE locker room learned of this news.
Here is what Sapp wrote:
Following Gary Cassidy’s report that WWE talent were instructed to prepare to travel, Fightful reached out to numerous wrestlers in the company. Unanimously, the reception was that of groans and frustration, with many thinking that the decision to do this after the company knew of another outbreak was a poor one. One top wrestler said that they’ve not seen much from WWE to instill confidence that it would get any better on the road. Every talent we’ve spoke to misses live audiences, but have also expressed concerns to us about the realities of traveling.
My Take:
- I feel like WWE should stay in one spot. It seems a lot safer than moving to different places and risking more outbreaks.
2) Update On Ridge Holland
Ridge Holland suffered an injury on the latest episode of NXT. WWE announced that he suffered an ankle dislocation and fracture. He also suffered a patellar dislocation and a ruptured patellar tendon.
WWE fans should expect Holland to be out for a long period of time. Ankle fractures can take up to 6 weeks to fully heal. A ruptured patellar tendon can take anywhere from 6 months to a year to fully recover.
My Take:
- I feel bad for him as it looked like he was in for a big feud against Adam Cole and The Undisputed Era. I wish him a speedy recovery.
