1) Update On The Plans For The WWE Hall Of Fame Ceremony
Due to the coronavirus pandemic, the WWE Hall of Fame ceremony was not able to happen during Wrestlemania 36 weekend. We have an update for you.
According to WrestlingNews.co, WWE is heavily discussing doing the ceremony on Summerslam weekend. Here is what they wrote:
I asked around about the Hall Of Fame and was told that the date is still to be determined but it is still “very possible” that the Hall Of Fame ceremony will take place during SummerSlam weekend.
The 2020 WWE Hall of Fame class includes the NWO, Batista, JBL, The British Bulldog, Jushin “Thunder” Liger, and The Bella Twins.
My Take:
- It will be interesting to see what they end up doing. They could just do a virtual ceremony and stream it with no crowd. It obviously won’t be the same as usual but it seems better than nothing. Plus, the live crowd is usually annoying during these ceremonies anyways.
