Rumor Roundup: The Plans For The Undisputed Era, Name Change Coming For Tag Team, More

1) The Plans For The Undisputed Era

According to a report from Mike Johnson of PWInsider, WWE is planning to push Adam Cole and Kyle O’Reilly as babyfaces moving forward.

Here is what Johnson wrote:

As you may have surmised from tonight’s WWE NXT, Adam Cole wrestling Austin Theory tonight is indeed the beginning of Cole being shifted into a babyface role for the brand. WWE began slowly teasing it after his loss to Finn Balor.

PWInsider.com has been told by multiple sources the plan is for Kyle O’Reilly to also shift into a full fledged babyface going forward.

Johnson also noted that the plan is for the rest of The Undisputed Era (Roderick Strong and Bobby Fish) to remain as heels. Here is what he wrote:

As of this writing, the rest of Undisputed Era, Roderick Strong and Bobby Fish are not slated to follow, so it will be interesting to see where WWE NXT goes with the faction and how they will be presented going forward.

My Take:

  • Could this be a hint at the faction breaking up? I don’t know how they are going to book them as half heels and half babyfaces. Things have gotten really interesting, especially with the WWE Draft coming up. Definitely stay tuned on this one.
