Rumor Roundup: The Plans For The Money In The Bank Ladder Matches, The Smackdown Hacker Reveal, More

Here are some of the latest WWE rumors that are floating around.

5) The Plans For The Smackdown Hacker Reveal

Somebody has been hacking Smackdown over the past several weeks but they have yet to reveal themselves. A new video has fans thinking that we could be finding out the identities of the hackers during the Money in the Bank PPV.

During the video, the hacker is seen punching in a cell phone code. That code is 05-10-20. This seems like an obvious hint for something happening at the Money in the Bank PPV, which takes place on May 10th, 2020:

My Take:

  • I could see the hacker getting involved in the fatal 4-way match for the Smackdown Tag Team Titles. The hacker was teasing something to do with the tag division a few weeks ago, so this would make sense. Either way, I am enjoying this hack angle so far.

4) Injury Update On Kevin Owens

Over the weekend, a report came out that suggested Kevin Owens is dealing with an injury.

Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline says that it is an ankle injury and Owens will be out for a few more weeks:

Regarding the Kevin Owens ankle injury, it happened at WrestleMania. The spot it happened is unknown as apparently he never felt a thing during the match and then the next day his ankle was swollen.  He expects to be out a few more weeks.

My Take:

  • Good to hear that it isn’t going to be an injury that keeps Owens out for several months. I could see Owens eventually helping out Drew McIntyre in his current feud with Seth Rollins and Murphy. Owens has a lot of history with those guys, so it would make sense.
