Here are some of the latest WWE rumors that are floating around.
5) Rumor On Ticket Demand For The 2020 Royal Rumble
According to Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, ticket demand for the 2020 Royal Rumble PPV is “mixed”. Here is what he wrote:
Ticket demand for the show is mixed. The live event is set up for 36,000, although no doubt they’ll announce closer to 46,000. There are about 3,000 tickets left, so 33,000 total and probably more than 30,000 paid still has to be considered very good. But the secondary market demand is nothing special and well below years in the past, with a get in price of $38.94, which is low for the No 2 show of the year, and there are tons of scalper tickets out.
Cageside Seats added that WWE is expected to announce some bigger names in the upcoming weeks to help with ticket sales for the event.
My Take:
- I have been predicting The Undertaker in the Royal Rumble match for a while now. I wouldn’t be surprised to see it happen over the next few weeks. It just seems like a spot that would be good for him. He would have to do minimum work (in the Rumble match) and he would help with ticket sales.

My Take:
- This tells me that June, July, September, October, and December still need PPV events. WWE recently trademarked a bunch of old PPV names, so it will be interesting to see if they bring any back.
